Beginner Pilates: : Teaches the principles and key postures of Pilates focusing on alignment, control and breath. Beginner Pilates classes are suitable for those with no Pilates experience, or for anyone wishing to return to the basics and revisit (tune) their technique. This class will prepare you to confidently move into the general Pilates class.
Pilates: Suitable for all levels while providing a challenge for the more seasoned participant.
Beginner Yoga: An introduction to Hatha Yoga with no previous experience needed. This class consists of postures (asana), breathing (pranayama) and relaxation (nidra). Learn how to modify the postures according to your own body and ability. Beginner Yoga Classes are suitable for beginners or for those preferring a gentler approach to exercise.
Vinyasa Yoga: This powerful style of Yoga flows from one asana to the next with awareness on the breath while building upper body and core strength. Enjoy the journey to self-awareness as you uncover new strengths, while releasing judgement and past conditioning.
BOUNCE Back Lower body classes are for those who have had any level of back, SIJ, hip pain or need to rehabilitate their dynamic core stability after hip, knee, ankle and even spinal surgery. This program is also very good for those wanting to improve their core stability, balance and co-ordination between the spine/pelvis and lower limbs and suits all levels of participant from elderly and post surgical patients through to the elite-athlete looking for an edge on their competition.
BOUNCE Back Upper body classes have been designed to build stabiliser control of the cervical/thoracic spine and shoulders. If you need to improve shoulder and back muscle movement and endurance, then it will be very worthwhile to attend this course.
BOUNCE Back Intermediate classes work toward challenging your balance and effectively co-ordinating your upper and lower body to help you move and function more effectively.
Yoga & Pilates Fees
- 8 Week Block - $14.00 per class (paid in advance)
- Casual Visit - $16.00 per class
